Cooinda Vale Pinot Noir
Wine
Pooley Cooinda Vale Pinot Noir is a single vineyard wine from the Cooinda Vale Vineyard at Campania in southern Tasmania, overlooking the Coal River.
Each of the vineyard's four blocks is handpicked and hand sorted. The parcels are kept separate as the fruit is destemmed without crushing. A small amount of stems are included in the ferments.
The juice is inoculated for fermentation. It receives pump overs throughout. Post-ferment maceration lasts for 8-10 days. Following maturation, the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Deep crimson, Pooley Cooinda Vale Pinot Noir has vibrant red fruit flavours, perfectly pitched acidity and fine silky tannins. Cellaring potential is seven years.
